Jim has over 29 years of experience in business development. He has extensive experience in accounting, financial services and human resources.

As the Director of Administration and Controller of Altair Advisers, Jim’s role includes administration of operations, overseeing accounting and financial reporting, and human resources.

Prior to joining Altair, Jim served as a senior financial officer for management companies that partnered with venture capital firms on numerous projects in the telecommunications industry. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. as an auditor in the Small Business Division.

Jim graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Business Administration – Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Jim also has a degree in Culinary Arts from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. Jim served in the First Bat., 3rd Infantry (The Old Guard) in Arlington, Virginia.

Jim is a member of the AICPA and Illinois Society of CPAs.
