Mike has been providing investment advice and guidance to wealthy individuals and foundations since 1998.

As a Founding Partner of Altair Advisers, Mike’s role includes helping clients develop strategic investment plans that reflect their goals and needs. Mike works with clients to create, implement and review their investment plans. He is a member of Altair’s Board of Managers and Altair’s Investment Committee.

Prior to forming Altair, Mike was a senior consultant in the Private Client Services practice at Arthur Andersen’s Chicago office. Mike spent nearly a year in Arthur Andersen’s London office helping launch the investment consulting practice for the United Kingdom.

Mike is a Chartered Financial Analyst^® charterholder (CFA^®), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant (CFP^®), and has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation (CAIA).

Mike graduated from the from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. Mike is a member of the University of Wisconsin Chicago Chapter Alumni Board and the Right Angle, A Noble Network program. Noble Street Charter School is a multi-campus charter public high school serving students throughout Chicago. Mike is also a founding member of the Muchin College Prep’s Community of Support.

Mike and his wife Amy reside in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.
